The Initiative
It has become increasingly evident in the past that the fundamentals of environmental conservation are not well known to most of us. The Swiss Environment Initiative therefore aims to educate the young generation in environmental conservation through providing facts about today's environmental topics.
The initiative is a continuous education programme that will transfer the experience and know-how in conserving the natural environment from Switzerland to other countries.
This will be done through educational booklets that explain in simple terms how to reduce our resource consumption. The objective of the initiative is to examine the three key resources water, energy and materials, and to highlight the best cleantech solutions how to reduce their consumption.
The booklets will be distributed to students in high-schools (14-18 years) and universities as well as to companies in the local market. The initiative is a non-profit project and financed by the generous support of various partner organisations.
